Christine Temple

On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, heaven welcomed home Christine Temple. We will celebrate her life at Crossroads Fellowship, Monday, September 16th at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. At 91, she had been a member for 50 years. She especially enjoyed Sunday school and Prime Time Senior group. Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, in 1982. They were married August 1st, 1938 in Sash, TX. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed many years of trailer camping together.

They enjoyed going to Inks Lake, and Cloudcroft, N.M.

Christine was an independent lady and problem solver. Always wanting to do as much as possible for as long as she could. She did all her shopping and was still driving. She loved her yard and was still working in her flower beds up until the last couple of years. She would never leave home without being dressed up.

Those left with treasured memories are 3 sons, Dearl and wife Jean of Centennial, Colorado, Rex and wife Debbie of Odessa, Stanley, one daughter, Peggy and husband Michael Johnson of Great Bend, Kansas. Grandchildren, Julie, Mark, Yvonne, Lance and Mike. Great Grandchildren, Cameron, Jake, Max, Kayla, Cade, Averi, Chaz, Chad and Kyle.

A family visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
