Carlos “Charley” Chavez, an angel gained his wings and heaven welcomed him with open arms on March 7th, 2023, at age 57. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, husband, and friend. He was born on April 20th, 1965 to Jesse Chavez & the late Elizabeth Lozano in Kermit, Tx.
He was a loyal employee of Innovex Downhole Solutions, for over 25 years, where he worked his way from Tool Technician up to Senior Supervisor.
One of Charley’s proudest accomplishments was being a father. He raised and molded his 5 sons by setting an example of how to be a hardworking, intelligent, and caring man. His spirit will continue to live on within them.
Charley met the love of his life, Alia Chavez, after a failed blind date, this was fate bringing them together. This was just the beginning of what blossomed into their 15 years of marriage.
Charley loved spending time outside; whether it be, playing with his grandchildren, BBQing, perfecting his lawn, or working on his newest project. When he wasn’t rooting for his Dallas Cowboys, he could be found out with his Harley.
