Its been 3 years since you've passed and not one day has gone by that I don't think of you.  I miss you so much dad and wish that you were here to see all your grandkids but mostly for mom.  Thank you dad for everything you have done for us.  You will always and forever be a part of my life and my childrens lives.  I love you dad!

I wanted to say this at the service but i don't know why i didn't...you used to tell me that i would make a great marine.  actually, everytime you saw me you would say that to me.  thank you for believing that i was tough enough to be a marine.  sorry but obviously i'm not.  you are probably one of the most loyal and loving person in my dad's life that i have ever known.  i love you uncle!

God called you up to carry out a duty that only Marines have the honor of carrying out. That's guarding the gates of heaven. Good bye great Uncle Savea. We'll miss you.
