Ronald Glenn Staggs, aged 87, went to be with the Lord on May 28th, 2024, in Wildomar, CA. A beloved father, grandfather, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronald was born on April 11th, 1937, in Florence, Alabama where he spent his formative years. After graduating high school, Ron joined the Marine Corp and faithfully served his country for 20 years, Ronald retired as a Staff Sergeant, during his commission he served 3 tours in Vietnam and was awarded 2 purple hearts.
Ronald was a dedicated husband to his wife Alice of 67 years. A devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement.

In retirement Ron and Alice would spend hours fishing on the harbor pier in Oceanside, shopping and cooking for family events and get togethers. Ron loved spending time with his beloved pets Sophie and Roxy listening to old county music., a simple man with simple needs.
Ron was always willing to share his experiences and travels with great enthusiasm of the 20 years he spent serving our country in the United States Marine Corp.
Ronald preceded in death by his mother Pearl, William (father), Kaye (sister), Ronald Jr. (son), Caron (daughter) and Timothy (son). He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Staggs, his sister Jane and his children, Edna (Rich) Hamilton, John (Jacqueline) Staggs, Douglas (Rachelle) Staggs, and Alesha Rousseau, his grandchildren: Caron, Jon, Julia, Dakota, Joshua, Zachary, Brandon, Sarah, Dustin, Cody, Donald, and 9 great grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. A viewing will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park at 1999 S. El Camino Real in Oceanside, CA on Friday June 14th, 2024, from 4:30-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 15th, 2024, from 1pm-2pm. Reception at Eternal Hills thereafter
