Born July 15, 1948 in Portland Oregon, Bob attended Sunset High School where he excelled in athletics, lettering in baseball, football, and wrestling. Bob then attended Portland State University. After serving in the Air Force from 1967-1971, Bob attended San Diego State University and ultimately earned a Master’s degree in psychology.
