Robert Preciado Lopez

Our loved father, grandfather, and son, Robert “Bobby” Preciado Lopez 70, passed away on October 30th, 2023 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, California. He was born on October 6th, 1953 in San Diego, California to Tony D. Lopez, Jr. and Josephine P. Lopez. He graduated from Vista High School in 1971. He was married to Kristine Christiaens on October 12, 1972. They had three children; Tracie, Jeremy, and Robert “Jason”. Their marriage ended in divorce. He had a son, Christian in 1992 with significant other Leinora Caplas. He was a highly skilled auto mechanic for 50 years, working in the family business at T&W Garage in Vista, California and Lusardi Construction among other places. He had a big heart and looked out for others despite having suffered a severe loss in his own life that brought him great sorrow. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved cars, animals, and listening to music. He had a great sense of humor and could always make those around him laugh. He will be greatly missed and will live on in the hearts of those that knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother Josephine Lopez; children, daughter Tracie (Mike) Moser, son Jeremy Lopez, and son Christian (Yolanda) Lopez; grandchildren Collin, Colby, Kayla, LT, Leilani, Destiny, Christian, and Kalea; great grandchildren Makeda and Majesty; brother Tony (Kathy) Lopez, Brother Richard (Lisa) Lopez, and sister Debbie (Shannon) Doherty. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert “Jason” Lopez and by his father, Tony D. Lopez Jr. He will forever be in our hearts until we meet again. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17th at 1:00 pm at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside, California.
