It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilu López-Espinoza of Brownsville, TX, and Oceanside, CA. She passed away on September 26, 2024 at Scripps Memorial Hospital at the age of seventy one.
She is survived by

She is preceded in death by
Aniceto López (Father), Maria Del Consuelo Espinoza (Mother), Petra Hilda López Espinoza (Sister), and José angel López Espinoza (Brother).
She had a passion for fashion, sewing and sight seeing. She adored her grandchildren and those who valued her company. Witnessing any Marine Corps events with her sons brought joy and happiness to her. She admired long conversations about life and how we should always look for the light at the end of the tunnel.
She was known for being strong willed, head strong and strived to overcome any challenges that life threw at her. Alias “La mas Chingona”
The funeral will be held on October 1, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. Located at 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054.
