He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 14, 1955. David was preceded in death by his parents, David L. and Reyes P. Hernandez, and his brothers, John A. Hernandez and R. Dominic Hernandez.
David served proudly in the US Navy for six years and was a Urology technician at Balboa Hospital, San Diego, California.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 36 years, Georgia Ann Hernandez, and siblings, Sister Janette A. Hernandez, MCDP, Louis Edward Hernandez, and beloved family and friends who will miss him dearly.
David had several life passions, including living in sunny California and driving by the ocean. David loved to barbecue and enjoyed swimming every day in his backyard pool. David enjoyed watching football on weekends, having all kinds of specialty foods and snacks, and also enjoyed watching YouTube daily.
Services for David P. Hernandez will be held at Eternal Hills Mortuary, Oceanside, California.
