Ruth Renee Horowitz

Ruth Renee Horowitz, a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Ruth was a devoted family matriarch, whose warmth, wisdom, and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Born on November 30, 1932, Ruth dedicated her life to nurturing her family and community. As a teacher, she inspired young minds with her passion for learning and her gentle guidance. Later, as a homemaker, she created a loving and welcoming home that served as the heart of her family.

Ruth was deeply committed to her faith and community, exemplified through her active involvement in Hadassah, where she worked tirelessly to support causes close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, who passed away in 1985. Ruth’s legacy lives on in the lives of her Daughter Gail Horowitz, son, Mark Horowitz and his wife Tammi and grandchildren, Danielle and Jonathan.
