Karen Ruth Klotz, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on July 13th, 2024 in Toms River, NJ at the age of 77. She was born on October 14th, 1946 in Passaic, NJ to her parents Florence and Sam. Karen brought joy and warmth into the lives of all her many friends and family.
Karen dedicated over 35 years of her life to teaching at Rockleigh Country Day School and Ridgewood Public Schools in New Jersey. Her passion for education touched the lives of countless students and colleagues throughout her career.
Karen flourished during her retirement years with numerous volunteer activities, travels, charities, and hobbies. She found a cherished home among her friends in her retirement community.
Karen is survived by her brothers Sid and Norman. Her sisters-in-law Roberta and Mary Beth, her nephews Josh and Noah and nieces Jessica, Elissa, and Sarah. Great nieces Lindsay, Stephanie and Ada.
