Michael Dwayne Brown was born on September 7th, 1948, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Michael was called to be with Jesus on June 8th, 2024, at the age of 75. The family will have a celebration of life service on Wednesday July 17th at 10:00am at Leesburg First Baptist Church Chapel in Leesburg Florida, with graveside service directly to follow at 12 noon at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida. Michael was a proud Christ follower, Army veteran, patriot, devoted husband, father, grandfather and doggie daddy. He also loved to travel and visit friends and family all over the country.
Michael is survived by wife Barbara Watts-Brown, daughters Jessica Parkinson and Amy Linberg, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren and sister Linda Rymsza, predeceased by his mother Dorothy Kilham Brown and father Luke Brown.
He proudly served in the Army from 1966 to 1974 including 3 years in Vietnam. With Barbara, he enjoyed attending their church, First Baptist Church of Leesburg, being a proud member and Ride Captain of the Patriot Guard Riders of Florida, showing off his prized bulldog, Louie at any place where there were a bunch of people, and traveling all over the country, especially on his motorcycle.
