Jean was born in Galax, Virginia, to Thomas & Anna Martin on January 19, 1936. She attended High School in Galax and graduated in 1954, She worked as a healthcare worker in admissions and record-keeping at Ocala Regional Hospital and The Villages Hospital for 30+ years before retiring.
She was an avid fan of many sports including bowling, golf, and basketball, and when not participating she was a spectator in person or on television.
Jean is survived by her children: Marcell Aikens & Phil, Michael Isaac & Christine, and Victoria Isaac. Grandchildren: Chuck Aikens, Joy Smith & Jim, Rachelle Aikens, Jill Mitchell, Angie Vittorelli, Mike Isaac, Jeremy Isaac, Anthony Isaac, Joey Isaac, Destiny Isaac, Sarah Isaac, Danielle Woolbright and a multitude of great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Marion County Hospice, Cate's House. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Marion County Hospice.
