Ocala-James Roger McGough, 68, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born in Johnstown, PA and moved to Ocala in 1960. James served in the National Guard Reserves and was an Owner/Operator of Heating and Air Conditioning business. He was a member of the VFW Post 4209, Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 3656, and the Moose and Elks in Ocala. James was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Ruth McGough, his adoptive parents, Doss K and Rosalie Watson, an infant son, James Patrick McGough, and brother Dennis C. McGough. He is survived by his wife, Betty J McGough, children, Shannon L. McGough and Michael S. McGough, granddaughter Kendra R. McGough, sister, T. Gail Watson, his faithful dog Toto and many friends. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 2 pm with family to accept friends 1 hour prior to the service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480.
