James worked as a supervisor for Stavola Lime Rock Mine and later started is own tree service business called James' Tree Service. He enjoyed RC cars and his favorite "tools of the trade" were his numerous chainsaws.
James was preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Luttrell; his mother Glendel Luttrell and his father Allen Luttrell.
James is survived by his beloved wife who he was with for 37 years, Gerri Luttrell; daughter, Jessie Luttrell; sister, Michelle Ford; brothers, Randall and Jeremiah Luttrell; grandsons, James C. Luttrell and Adrian Rivera; granddaughter, Arielle Rivera and nephew, Kai Ford.
A visitation for James will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480 with a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Committal Service will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
