Christine McNaughton

Christine McNaughton, born on August 4, 1950, in Harvey, IL, passed away on October 23,2024. She resided in Ocala, FL. A devoted mother, sister and a cherished friend, Christine was known for her sweet and loving nature.

Christine spent over 20 years working at Hilton Ocala. A proud mother, Christine raised two wonderful children, Janet who lives in Fort Myers, FL, and James, residing in Elberta, AL with wife, Diana, and son, Arthur. She as also a loving sister to Thomas, who lives in Henderson, NV, and is preceded in death by her twin sister, Victoria and parents, Mary and Henry. Christine’s greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family and multiple grand dogs, and she cherished the moments spent together.

In 2005, Christine experienced the loss of her husband, James, but continued to honor his memory through her acts of kindness and service. She as actively involved in various community organizations, including the sewing club, Moose Lodge and church events, where she contributed her time to the bereavement committee. A devout Catholic, Christine’s faith guided her life.

Christine was known for her pleasant demeanor and would go out of her way to support anyone in need. Notably, she embraced new experiences, obtaining her first passport at the age of 72.

Christine McNaughton leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and community spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who remember her as a beacon of warmth and generosity.
