My prayers are with you all.
Mildred  was a faithful in attending the dial-in Senior Saints/Evangelism every week.  Sometimes she was ill and unable to participate; however, she would just listen.   If she did not understand a scripture, she was never reluctant to ask for clarification.  She was a joy to know and an asset to the class.

My name is Tonya Thompson and I had the pleasure of working with Mildred for the City & County of SF.  She and I immediately bonded and became friends.  We would spend time at each other’s desks chitchatting when we should have been working.😝.  She was such a sweet and kind person whom I will miss but I cherish the memories I have of all of our talks about men, our kids and life in general.  She loved being a grandmother, always talking about her grandson that was living with her at the time.  Although I haven’t seen Millie in years, I thought of her often.  I am saddened to hear of her passing, but happy she is now at peace.  Rest in Paradise my dear friend.🙏🏾

I'm going to miss our phone calls about the warriors and kc cheifs. Thank you for all your knowledge and wisdom. Rest on my Taurus tee tee.  I miss you an love you for life.

We will truly miss our beloved Sister, Mildred Jackson. Sister Jackson was a dedicated member of the West Oakland Church of Christ's Evangelism class. Upon her realization that she had not been converted when she was initially baptized, insisted on being re-baptized in 2023, when she was spiritualy converted. From that day forward she was a True soldier on the battle field for Christ. We all in the WOCOC Evangelism class will always cherish and miss her kindered spirit, her smiling face, and her dedicated walk with Christ. Mildred may God welcome you with open arms.

Our beautiful Mary Mack, I am SO full of gratitude that God allowed you to play such a pivotal role in my life! You’ve been there through every life changing moment; from high school graduation, college graduation all the way to welcoming my first child and the second! You supported my art, and any other endeavors I had. The friendship and love you showered my dad with was truly unconditional. You always knew how to accept  people for who they were; something I troubled practicing. I’m thankful because I can remember your voice, your unique southern accent lol and how your tone would change when you would tell me something you wanted me to remember and hold onto dearly. I will hold onto every conversation! I will cherish every memory. I thank you for loving me! I thank you for teaching me! I also thank you SO much for showering my children with love. They will miss you SO much! It will be weird not making you soup, or watching a game with you and see you get excited and shout! lol but I know you’re watching from a better place. You’ve always looked over my dad (Rod Jackson), so please continue to do so now. Show him that you’re present in spirit. You won a good fight! To be there for you throughout and even now is an honor. You are the epitome of love, strength, and perseverance. I never heard you complain and you often forced me to see the light in any situation. I could never thank you enough. We love and miss you SO SO much! 

Rest well and visit us in our dreams often.

April the 5th was the hardest day of my life, knowing that the Lord called you home , I was happy in a way knowing that you didn't have to suffer another day, I've known you over 20 years and I was happy to be part of your life. It's been a blessing to have you in my life .We had some very good times together, You was a very strong woman and wouldn't give up at all, you taught me how to be strong. Although  your loss is very hard to deal with, but I'm trying, all I could think about is the joy and memories you brought into my life. I hope to see you again one day. Missing you like crazy. I know how hard you fought this battle, you were a strong woman,and a kind hearted person who would feed the homeless, give your blankets to the homeless people at 7-11,  I was so glad to be a part of your life, still can't get over this, but I know you won't me to be strong.
