Marvin Louis Young, age 75, of Oakland, California passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. Marvin was born October 2, 1946 to his parents, Nathaniel and Mabel Young. He grew up in Alameda and Oakland area where he attended school. He furthered his education at S.F. State where he received his B.A. He went on and served as a Police Officer for 29 yrs. He also served in the U.S. Army.
He married Janice Young and was blessed with 1 daughter, a grandson, a greatgranddaughter.
Preceded him in passing both parents, stepmom Lena Young and his brother.
He will truly be missed by his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, sister, sister-n-laws, other family and friends.
