Nicholas Erik “Nick/Niko” Marlowe, 46, of LaGrange, Illinois. We’ve lost our beloved husband, father, brother, son, nephew, cousin and friend. Nick passed away of natural causes, unexpectedly at home early Thursday, October 4th. Nicholas was a rock for those he loved and a pillar of the family and the community. He had a heart of gold and a will of steel. Nicholas was a lover of country music and Porsches. He was an incredible dancer known to clear the dance floor with his enviable skills, but he never wanted to steal the limelight for himself. Nicholas was a graduate of Fenwick High School where he excelled as a goaltender on the varsity hockey team in the highly competitive Chicago Catholic Hockey League. Personable and courteous, he was a wonderful, loyal friend to many. Hard working and conscientious, he excelled in his career as Vice-President of Real Estate and Development at TCC Wireless. Always selfless and there whenever you needed a helping hand, he loved his family first and foremost. His goodness and strength of character shine through his beautiful wife Kim and daughters McKayla and Nikki. His life has left an indelible mark on all those he loved. Nicholas was born on May 13, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois. He married Kim Kadlec on September 24, 1995.
