In loving memory, we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, Sharon Theresa Sinadinos (nee Cummings), on October 12, 2024. Born in Tampa, FL and raised in Rantoul, IL, Sharon was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, where she served as a member and president of the St. Nicholas Ladies Philoptochos Society. Sharon was also a member and one-time district governor of the Daughters of Penelope, whose cause she ardently championed. A tough and determined woman, Sharon was a warrior who still always found the opportunity to be silly and enjoy life. She was an avid reader and enjoyed seeing live theatre and music. Her greatest passion was spending time with friends, family and her beloved cockatiel, Buddy. She was a warm person who enthusiastically welcomed others into her family and community. She never met a stranger.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband George; her mother Marguerite; her sister, Debi; and her brothers Sean and Tom. She is survived by her daughter, Alison (Caitlin); her nieces Elizabeth (Thad) and Nicole (Rob); and her daugher-in-law Emily.
