Ruth Crouse, age 86, of Oak Lawn IL, passed away peacefully on June 28th 2020. Loving wife to the late Adron Crouse. Beloved mother to Ron, and Mike Crouse, and the late Gary Crouse. Cherished grandma to Megan Crouse, Tommy Crouse, and Joey (Sonia) Crouse. Adored great grandma to Maryah, and Xavier Crouse. Treasured sister to Jean Rice, Janice (Jim) Palmer, Gerald (Pat) Woods, and the late Joyce (Bobby) Beard, loving sister in laws Carol (Irvin) Cooper, Nancy Crouse and bother in law Billy Hicks, and many loving nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Thomas Woods and Lona Lanari-Woods. Dear Mother in-law to Dawn Crouse, and Erin McAvoy. Ruth was a long time member of the first Baptist church in Burbank. Her true gift was her green thumb, she was an exceptional Gardner of both flowers and vegetables. Getting her learned skills from her parent’s farm in Tennessee.
