Michael W. Hoffman

Michael W Hoffman, age 72, of Sheridan, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Beloved brother of Roy (late Karen) Hoffman, loving uncle of Michelle (Don) Zeko, Dawn (Chris) Rellinger, and Scott (Dawn) Hoffman; cherished great uncle of David Zeko, Aleesha (Ben) Carlson, Justin and Abby Rellinger and great great uncle of Harper Carlson.

A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, September 29, 2023, from 9:30 AM until Funeral Services 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453.

After graduating from Stagg High School, Mike went on to have a career as a chemist for print media companies. He was proudest of the custom dyes he created. Even at home, Mike loved to create beautiful gardens, new and improved recipes and the perfect Halloween lawn display. In 2010, he retired to care for his mom and fur babies full-time. He spoiled his cats who always had the latest toy and finest cuisine.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
