Maureen S. Haas, nee Sullivan, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Beloved Wife of the late Thomas Haas, Sr. for a loving 49 years. Loving Mother of Thomas, Jr. (Allison) and Michael (Bernadette). Cherished Grandmother of Noah, Mia, and Ellie; and Ian and Anna. Devoted Daughter of the late John and Dorothy, nee McKevitt. Dear Sister of John (Sue) Sullivan. Fond Aunt of the many nieces and nephews of the McKevitt and Sullivan clans. Maureen began her teaching career at Our Lady of the Snows and continued her career as a counselor at Jane Addams and Davis schools. Maureen was a lover of all things Irish and chocolate.
Visitation Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St. Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Funeral to follow Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 9:00am at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 10134 S. Longwood Dr. Chicago, IL 60643, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
