Loretta Kmiotek was born in 1926 in Chicago, the 9th child in a family of 10. She married George Zintak in 1949 and they raised their sons in Chicago, before retiring to Oak Lawn.
She loved being out with friends and family and was always ready for a good cup of coffee. Her happy smile and wonderful spirit touched everyone she met. While she could, her active social schedule and lack of driving kept us all busy. A fixture at many southside bingo games, she was often the luckiest player in the room.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George, and her niece, Kathleen.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Diane), Mark (Celeste), Kenneth (Carolyn) and George (Donna); her grandchildren, Amy (Thomas), James (Marie), Benjamin (Alexis), Peter and Caitlin; great-grandchildren Luke, Devin, Leah, Margot, Valerie, Theodore; and great-nephew and niece, Brian and Lisa.
In lieu of flowers it's suggested that you enjoy a Barracco's pizza and a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee in her honor.
A visitation and funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 18th visitation at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady at St. Germaine Church, 9711 S. Kolin Ave., Oak Lawn, IL. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
