Rosemary Catherine Gentile

Rosemary (Rose) passed away on July 16, 2024 after a long struggle with Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Ely Nevada and was married for 42 years. Preceding her in death were her husband (Ralph Sr.), mother and father (Regina and Frank Tuccori), siblings Fred Tuccori (brother) Ed Molinari (brother) and Melba Manzonie (sister). She is survived by her loving children, Ralph Jr. (Wendy) Gentile, Jeff Gentile, Dina (Cademartori) and Jerry Gentile. Additionally, her grandchildren Dominic (Maria) and Dante (Alison) as well as her great grandchildren Jack, Joey, Jett and Lillian. Sister in laws MaryAnn Tuccori and Carol Walsh-Dutton (Bob) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. While in Ely she attended a one room schoolhouse until the age of 6 when her family moved to San Francisco’s Mission District. She attended St. Paul’s grammar school and St. Peter’s high school. After marrying her loving husband Ralph Sr., they settled in San Bruno and then moved to San Rafael in the 60’s where their children were raised. She worked a variety of jobs, and she enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers and Giants. She also loved doing crafts, playing Bingo, Bocce ball and travelling. She volunteered at the Nazareth House in Terra Linda for many years. The family would like to thank her loving caregivers Sherry (Sara), Ally, Tora, Sala and Taina as well as By the Bay Health Hospice Care. Catholic Rosary and Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 24th at 10:30a.m. Services will be held at St. Isabella, 1 Trinity Way, San Rafael followed by a reception and buffet lunch. Internment at Mt Olivet Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind (San Rafael) or By the Bay Health (Larkspur).
