It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Amirault Clifford, who left us peacefully in her sleep on December 15, 2024 at the age of 68 after a battle with dementia. Nancy was a cherished member of our family and a beloved friend to many. Her kindness and unwavering love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on April 14, 1956, in Frankfurt, Germany, Nancy spent her childhood moving between Germany, Texas, Massachusetts, and Maryland as part of a military family, alongside her three siblings. She graduated from Aberdeen Senior High and earned her bachelor's degree from Towson State University. Her professional career included roles as a store manager at Gino's in Towson, a manager at McCormick in Hunt Valley, and nearly two decades as Senior Vice President at Software Consortium in Towson.
Nancy had a passion for crafts, Disney, the Baltimore sports teams of Ravens and Orioles, Hawaii, and Christmas lawn ornaments. Her greatest love was for her dogs: Toby, Skoby, Casey, and Kona, who have all greeted her on the other side of the rainbow bridge, and Copper, her steadfast companion until the end of her life. Her distinctive laugh made her easy to find at any gathering, and she was a treasured friend to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Ruth Amirault; brother, Gary Amirault and his wife Michelle; nephew Scott Amirault; and fiancé, Robert Rice Jr. She is survived by her brother Paul Amirault and his wife Cindy; sister Janet Amirault and her husband Alan Foote; her niece Kerrie Moyseenko, her husband Mike, and their children, Alison, Evan and Tessa; nephew Ryan Amirault; niece Kelsey Amirault; niece Elena Amirault and her daughter, Siena; nephew Sean Foote and his wife Kesia Ross; and niece Justine Foote and her fiancé Jack Lovley III.
