Mario "Zi Ma" Scotto

On February 18, 2019, Mario “Zi Ma” Scotto passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Joan Scotto (nee Fischetti); devoted father of Ben Scotto and his fiancé Tatyana Etelis, Rosanna Coppola and her husband Remo, and Connie Scotto-Sheffert and her husband Chris; loving grandfather of Giana Scotto, Ernesto Coppola, Mario Scotto, Matteo Scotto, Nico Sheffert, and Luca Sheffert; dear brother of Michele, Salvatore, Maria, and Yolanda Scotto, and the late Carlo and Aniello Scotto, and Rosina Lamberti. Mario is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 12pm, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mario’s name to the Autism Society of Baltimore-Chesapeake, P.O. Box 10822, Baltimore, MD 21234.
