On December 8, 2024, Joseph E. Shimanek Sr. passed away. He was the beloved husband of Darlene Shimanek (nee Caprinolo); devoted father of the late A. John Paradiso, Kimberly A. Paradiso-Shimanek, Joe Shimanek Jr., his wife Lois; loving grandfather of Abigail Shimanek, Joseph “Jack” Shimanek III; dear brother of the late Edward Shimanek, and James Shimanek; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Christian mass will be on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082 at 10:00 AM.
