Jerrold “Jerry” Rodney Stitt, III, age 36, of Essex, MD, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Jerrold was the beloved fiancé of Lisa Renee Ferrell; devoted father of Jerrold Rodney Stitt, IV, Payton Ann Stitt, Alyssa Bethany Stitt; devoted bonus dad of Jaden David Mapp, Kylee Marie Mapp, and Landon Jacob Mapp; loving son of Betty Ann McQuiston (nee Garcia) and her husband Joe, and the late Jerrold Rodney Stitt, Jr.; cherished step-son of Geneva Martinez; dear brother of Justin Stitt, Geneva Stitt, and Jacob Stitt; beloved grandson of Margaret Ramirez and her late husband Juan, Ray and Connie Garcia, Ruby Stitt, Maria Cornelison, and the late Jerrold Stitt, Sr.; dear uncle of Derrick and Geneva Martinez, and Justin and Alexander Cole. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 12-2 PM and 4-5 PM, with a funeral service to begin at 5 PM. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jerrold’s name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness at www.nami.org.
