On February 22, 2017, Ida Mae Hoffmeister; beloved wife of the late Louis E. Hoffmeister, Jr.; devoted mother of Sharon Metzbower and Raymond Hoffmeister; loving grandmother of Craig Metzbower, Ryan Hoffmeister, Laura Portz, Julie and Katie Hoffmeister; cherished great-grandmother of Owen and Willa Hoffmeister, Caiden and Lilah Mae Portz. Ida Mae was the last surviving of 9 children of Fred and Mabel Elste.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Sunday, February 26, 2017, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9534 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236.
