On November 29, 2021, Gerard O’Connor joined his beloved wife Margaret (McMann) O’Connor in heaven. He was the loving brother of Patricia (O’Connor) Rock and brother-in - law of James Rock and Marie (O’Connor) Carlin and brother-in -law of Bernard Carlin. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1931 he emigrated to Baltimore, Maryland in 1948 with his mother, father and sister. During the Korean Conflict he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. He was a long time member of the Holy Name Society and active parishioner of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Baltimore, Maryland.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Most Precious Blood, 5010 Bowleys Ln, Baltimore, MD 21206 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
