Catherine Shaffer

On August 8, 2015 Catherine "Cass" Shaffer (nee Duschl) passed away. She was the beloved wife of Ralph "Joe" Shaffer; devoted mother of Stephen Shaffer and his wife Linda, Susan Gail Shaffer, and Wendy Wallick and her husband Barry; cherished grandmother of Stephen and Sarah, Timothy and Lisa, Christine and Andrew, and Lee Ann and Mark; loving great-grandmother of Emily Catherine, Samantha Alice, and Jocelyn Noel; dear sister of Theresa Hellman, Johanna Sadler, and the late Elizabeth Sassard, Michael Duschl, John Duschl, Edward Duschl, and Barbara Hebel. Also survived by her dearest friends Marilyn and Frank Bolton.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00AM. Interment private.
