Brigitte G. Kahl, 81, passed away peacefully on January 6th 2024. She was born June 22nd 1942, in Rochefort, France. She came to the United States at age 9 with her mother Helen Kahl. She went on to be the devoted mother to Theresa and Mark and wife Patty. Loving grandmother to Sheri, Ryan, Steven and the late Tami. Cherished great-grandmother of Kassidee, Laci and Levi. Dear Sister and caring Aunt to many. Brigitte was blessed to have a large extended family.
Brigitte retired from the Baltimore County School Board after 30 years of dedication. In her spare time she loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to their sporting events, "arriving extra early to get the best seat." She enjoyed playing cribbage, bingo and the occasional trip to the casino. She also found delight in cooking and baking. She found great comfort in the lord and spent many years following her faith at Our Lady Queen of Peace. Her family paid this tribute to her 'Brigitte was the kindest woman you could ever meet. She was selfless, loving and warm hearted. She will be sorely missed.'
Relatives and friends will gather at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 10003 Bird River Rd., Middle River MD 21220, for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens Friday January 12th.
