On August 22, 2021 Barbara Sherman passed away. She is the beloved wife of Stephen G. Sherman; devoted daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Cvach; dear sister of Paul Cvach and his wife Beverly, Karen Connelly, Cindy Jankiewicz and her husband Les, and Tony Cvach; cherished aunt of Jason and Sarah Cvach, Jill and Ben Wood, Lisa and Joe Kendall, Patrick Connelly, and Michael Connelly; loving great-aunt of Eli, Oliver, Norah, Leeland, Lilly, Andrew, Henry, Cole and Georgia Rose; loving step-mother of Sally Hogan and her husband Sean; cherished step-grandmother of Ethan; dear sister-in-law of Cliff Sherman and his wife Kelly, Maureen Sherman, Patricia Fluty and her husband William, Mary Sherman and their families.
Barbara retired from her career with the IRS. She loved going to Ocean City, and she loved animals. She will be remembered as an extremely giving person with a big heart. She especially loved spending time with the children in her family they brought her great joy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Barbara’s name to the Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Rd. Baltimore, MD 21211, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
