Lois Marie Staula

Lois Marie (Curran) Staula, age 79, of Sharon, MA, formerly of Norwood, MA, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 7, 1943 to the late Michael J. Curran and Mary L. (Doran) Curran.

Lois enjoyed reading, gardening ,the Patriots, the ocean, breakfasts with her friends, reunions with her high school friends and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchild and her devoted husband Joseph. She will be greatly missed!

Lois is survived by her husband Joseph Staula of Sharon, her children Lisa Card and fiancé Michael Ryan of North Attleboro, Richard Cerqua of Foxboro, Gregory Curran and his wife Denise of North Attleboro, and Cara Martinelli and husband Paul of Blackstone. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alison Card, Erin Burlingame, Paul Martinelli Jr, Samantha Zejuela, James Martinelli, Joseph Martinelli, Matthew Martinelli, Michael Curran, Daniel Curran, Patrick Curran, Gabriella Cerqua and her great grandson Benjamin Zejuela.

Lois is predeceased by her sister MaryLou (Curran) Fitzpatrick, nephew Michael Fitzpatrick, brother in law Dominique Staula and sister in law Jenny (Poraco) Staula.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood, with a Memorial Mass to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 59 Cottage St., Sharon.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lois’s memory to Saint Jude.
