Geraldine (Pickard) Flynn

FLYNN, Geraldine (Pickard) 97 of Norwood and Seabrook Beach NH, died at home Saturday, December 3 in the care of her family. Born in Seabrook Beach, NH and raised in Newton Centre, she was a daughter of the late Greenleaf Whittier and Helen (Liston) Pickard. Beloved wife of the late John H. Flynn, Jr. Devoted mother of Christopher Flynn and his wife Nancy of Mansfield, Maura Fabiani and her husband Vincent of Needham, Michaela Walsh and her husband Richard of Mansfield, Denise Begley and her husband William of Norwood, and the late Mark Flynn. Loving grandmother of Nicole and Deanna Flynn, Allie and Nicholas Fabiani, Christopher Walsh, and Dylan Begley. She was the last surviving sibling of Helen DeGeorge, Elizabeth Nolan, Greenleaf Pickard, Mary Katherine Thibeau, and John Pickard. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her wonderful caregivers. Funeral Saturday December 10 from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood at 9 am. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to gather for visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. Interment Newton Cemetery, Newton. WW II U.S. Navy WAVES Veteran and late member of the St. Catherine’s Sodality and Legion of Mary.
