George Reilly Hayes

He was the beloved husband of Mary Neville Hayes; loving father of Steven C. Hayes and his wife Marita of Natick, Susan Signori and her former husband Enzo of Newburyport, Cristen Flanagan and her husband Robert of Mendon, and the late George Reilly Hayes III; loving step-father of Edward J. Neville III and his wife Kathleen of Melrose, Ellen F. Connolly and her husband Kenneth of South Boston, Kathleen Looney and her husband John of Norwood, and Alice A. Neville of Melrose; devoted brother of Eleanora “Missy” Ansty and her husband John of Newton; cherished grandfather of Nicolette Signori, Michael Signori, Collin J. Flanagan, Catherine R. Flanagan; dear step-grandfather of Kelly A. Allison, Alanna Looney, Natalie Looney, and Kathryn J. Blossom. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 9:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday, April 1st from 4:00-8:00pm.
