Edward P. Morse

He was the son of the late Edward J. and Mary I. (Cameron) Morse and the beloved husband of 64 years of the late Madeline “Maddy” (Kramer) Morse. Loving father of Jeanne (Morse) Daly and her husband Stephen of Hingham, Paul Morse and his wife Carol of Westford, Kenneth Morse of Wilmington, and the late Kevin Morse and Ann (Morse) Sabatino and her husband Jack of NJ. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth (Daly) Mulcahy and her husband James of Belmont, Christine Daly of Montana, Jeffrey Morse and his wife Lauren of Westford, Audrey (Morse) Gasteier and her husband Matthew of Concord, Peter Sabatino of Hawaii, and Julia (Sabatino) Goroff and her husband David of Philadelphia. Proud great-grandfather of Calvin and June Gasteier and John and Madeline Mulcahy. Dear brother of the late Laura (Morse) O’Hara and her husband Vincent and Madelyn (Morse) Kissock. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Edward spent many years with Northrop Grumman and was the long time Director of Engineering for the Itek Corporation.

Edward had a very supportive group of caregivers that made his final journey as soft as possible. We thank them all from Gabriel’s Caring Angels.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27th at 10:30am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in St. Timothy’s Church, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm. Interment with military honors will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
