Arline T. Whiteside

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Nora (Flynn) Whiteside, and the devoted sister of the late Rev. Robert Whiteside.

Arline worked in Boston for Calvert Distillers and for many years at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center until her retirement.

In her later years, Arline was a resident of Victoria Haven Residences, Norwood. As a woman of faith, she was an active parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood. She also belonged to the Norwood Senior Center where she enjoyed many friendships. Most of all, Arline enjoyed special holidays and events with her many loving cousins and their families.

Friends and family are invited to attend Arline’s visitation on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 549 Washington Street, Norwood. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
