Anne M. O'Toole Carr

Born Sept. 23, 1930, and educated, in Galway, Ireland, the daughter of the late Michael P. O’Toole and Mary (Keane), she was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Carr, loving mother of Patricia Wolfe of Stoughton, Michael P. Carr and his wife Amy of Norwood, and the late Robert J., Jr., cherished grandmother of Deirdre and Dylan Wolfe and Neil, Michael and Daniel Carr, and the devoted sister of the late Patrick and Coleman O’Toole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Irish Social Club in West Roxbury and greatly enjoyed participating in its Irish dances in the area, including in Norwood. She was also an avid bingo player.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 8 AM from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 3-7 PM.
