Linn W. Rifanburg, 69 yrs. old of Norwich, NY passed away on April 11, 2024 at his home.
Linn was born November 29, 1954 in Norwich, NY the son of George H. and Helen (Shipton) Rifanburg. He worked in maintenance at Opportunities for Chenango, custodian at Chenango County office building, and in sales at Richers feed store in Norwich for many years. Linn was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. One of his favorite fishing spots was at Black Lake where he and Christine ventured to every year. He was lucky to take many hunting trips to Canada, New Foundland, Colorado and Kansas where he was always successful.
Linn is survived by his companion of 36 yrs. Christine Pierce, two sons Travis Rifanburg and Kipp Rifanburg, one grandson Dylan, one brother Les Rifanburg, step daughter Amie and Brian Merritt, two step granddaughters, Matilena and Charlotte . He is predeceased by parents and two brothers Larry and Donald Rifanburg.
