Gary Ryan

Gary Allen Ryan, 59 , passed away peacefully in his home with his wife by his side on September 7th 2020 Gary is predeceased by his father and mother Eugene and Caroline Ryan, brother John Ryan, Sister Barbara Ryan and his son Jason Drake. Gary is survived by his wife the love of his life, of thirty nine years Rosalind S. Ryan, daughter-in-law Lindsay Willey-Drake, his granddaughter Leighann and Marcus Sutliff, Grandsons Stephen James and Ryan Allen Drake, great-grandson River Charles Sutliff , along with his brothers Eugene Jr. , Larry and Herb Ryan, sisters Connie Hazard and Beverly Wismer, including several nieces and nephews who he loved very much, as well as his best friends Donnie Pope and Shawna Smith.

Lifelong resident of Norwich, Gary entered the United States Navy in 1980 where he served on the USS Eisenhower and was honorably discharged in 1985. Gary joined Victory markets Warehouse and then went on to retire from the County of Chenango. Gary was a loving family man, alongside of his loving wife Rosalind, they enjoyed spending their time with their grandchildren and family travelling on vacations, attending family gatherings and sporting events. As an avid Sports fan of the New York Giants, New York Mets and the Orangemen. Gary shared his love of the game with his grandchildren Sports interest by attending all practices and games. Gary was a wonderful husband, a great father and an excellent grandfather. Gary will be missed beyond measure. Memorial services for Gary will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
