Bill Peck, 71, passed away unexpectedly on 9/26/2020. Bill was born on July 19, 1949 in Norwich, NY, and grew up in New Berlin, NY, until his family later moved to Sherburne, NY. He graduated from New Berlin High School, and later received his BA from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. He was employed by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation from July 1975 until his retirement in November 2005. Bill was predeceased by his parents Barbara and Don Peck, and survived by his wife, Patricia (Harrigan) Peck of Sherburne and daughter Tamara (Peck) Carroll and son-in-law Edmund Carroll of London, England , siblings Tom Peck of Sherrill, NY, Claudia Peck of Schuylerville, NY, Jennifer (Peck) Jacobsen of Morris, NY, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bill spent all of his life with a passion for fly fishing, hunting, travelling, and caring for the environment. He was a member of Trout Unlimited and the NFLCC.
He was a devoted husband and father who will be missed every day.
Memorial donations may be made in Bill’s honour to the Audubon Society or Trout Unlimited.

A memorial service for Bill will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 2nd, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
