Robert B. Farrell

Robert Barry Farrell of Norwich CT., passed away suddenly at Backus Hospital on March 2, 2021. He was born in Norwich, CT on January 28, 1935. He was the son of the late John and Cora Farrell of Norwich CT. Robert was predeceased by his Father, John and Mother Cora, and one sister Tessie Jackson of Houston TX. He is survived by his brother Joseph Farrell and his wife Carol of Norwich. He is also survived by his lifelong partner of 24 years, Josephine Cilley of Norwich, CT, and his first wife Agnes Farrell of Griswold, CT. He was also predeceased by his second wife Elaine Farrell of Lebanon, CT. He is also survived by his children, Robert Farrell, Debra Farrell, John Farrell, and Edward Farrell. He also leaves his grandchildren, Jennelle Farrell, and Casey Farrell, and two great-grandchildren Gage and Shaun, and a special thanks to Yvonne, Susan, Debra (John’s wife) and Gaila Farrell along with Donna and Harold Cheika, Frank and Donald Cilley, and his many friends and acquaintances along his journey. Mr. Farrell retired from Backus Hospital and was also a Veteran of the Korean War while serving in the United States Air Force. He was a wonderful Father, and family man and will be sadly missed by all that he touched over his 86 years. May he rest in Peace.
