Margaret Elsie Oddo

Margaret married the love of her life, Peter W. Oddo Sr., of 43 years and together they raised three children.

In her short time on earth, her accomplishments were many. Margaret owned and operated bars, restaurants, and car dealerships until she decided to go to work as a bingo floor worker at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. It was a job she truly loved and she touched the hearts of all her team members and patrons.

Margaret is survived by her husband Peter Oddo Sr., her children; Peter Jr. (Jody), Melissa Conner (Matt), and Marlina Driscoll (Brian). She also leaves behind seven siblings; Mary Emery (Vernon), Walter Birkbeck, Barbara Hedberg (Duane), Cheryl Morgan, Lisa, Susanna, and Gary Birkbeck. Eight grand-children and two great grand-children also survives her.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents James and Myra Birkbeck, two brothers James Jr. and Thomas, and her loving son Joseph Angelo Oddo.

Margaret will always be remembered for her kindness to all and her infectious laugh. She will be forever missed.

Calling hours for Margaret will be held at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Ave. Norwich on Friday, September 22 from 4 PM – 7:30 PM with a service at 7:30PM. A graveside service will be Saturday, September 23 at the Lambtown Cemetery 101 Lambtown Rd, Ledyard at 10 AM.
