Joshua David Dickson

Joshua Dickson died unexpectedly on August 9th, 2021 at the age of 44 years old in his home in Norwich. Dickson is survived by his parents Evelyn Tully, David and Linda Dickson, and Dan Avery; his siblings Angela Valero, Tia and Cory Dickson; his wife and best friend, Tammy Dickson; his children, Noah, Hannah, Steven, Savannah, Lauryn, Nadia and Jaxson; and his beloved pets Cash and Gizmo as well as many other in-laws, friends and family. Dickson was born in Groton on February 14th, 1977 to Evelyn Tully and David Dickson.

He has lived in South Eastern Connecticut for his entire life. He has worked at Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich for the better part of a decade. He was devoted to his family, enjoyed going on vacations, watching the Giants and game nights with friends and family. He was always willing to help anyone in need and offer advice for any situation. He will be missed deeply by family, friends, and all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, August 12th at 6pm-8pm at Church and Allen funeral home in Norwich. Funeral services will take place the following morning at 10am at the same location. After the services, there will be a gathering at Knights of Columbus in Taftville at 47 Second St Norwich, CT. Come any time after 12:30, light refreshments and cash bar. Feel free to bring a dish but there will be food. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
