Gail Barbara Vezina-Robinson

Gail Barbara Robinson, 73, passed away on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022, at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT surrounded by her loved ones. She was the widow of the late William E. Robinson with whom she shared 38 years of marriage together.

Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of Lucien and Evelyn Vezina. She graduated Eastern Connecticut State University in 1988. She worked as a financial analyst for 20+ years before her retirement.

Gail was a member of the Windham Textile and History Museum for some years. She was very family oriented and devoted to her children and grandchildren. She loved her cats and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her daughter; Linda Santiago, Son-in-law; Jose Luis Santiago, Son; Mark Higham II, a sister; Linda Gavitt, grandchildren; Rachel (Howard) Saunders, Matthieu Stevens, Eryn Santiago, Joshua Stevens, Mark Higham III, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; Lucien and Evelyn Vezina and sister; Joan Hartman.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, September 23rd , 2022 at Church and Allen Funeral Home in Norwich, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway Norwich, CT. Following the Mass, guests are invited to the Norwich Inn & Spa 607 W Thames St, Norwich, CT for a reception.
