Brigitte G. Pensis Duncan

Brigitte was born October 29, 1969 in Norwich, the daughter of the late Paul and Janine Angenot Pensis. She attended Ledyard High School and most recently worked as a certified nurse’s assistant at Masonicare. Brigitte’s greatest joy in life was her children and granddaughter; she particularly enjoyed their family vacations in New Hampshire.

Brigitte is survived by her four children; Amber Berthod of Manchester, Jessica Berthod of Hartford, Travis Berthod of Hartford and Hannah Duncan of Windsor Locks, brothers Marc Pensis of Preston, Daniel Pensis of Oakdale, Pierre Pensis of Preston and sisters Bernadette Goss of Preston and Madeleine Ivory of Oakdale as well as her granddaughter Taylin Nicolay of Hartford and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 12:00 PM at St. James Poquetanuck Church, 95 Rt. 2A, Preston CT 06365; burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich on Monday evening from 5-8 PM.

Brigitte Georgette (Pensis) Duncan, 44 of Windsor Locks passed away unexpectedly June 30, 2014 at her home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to her family to help take care of her youngest children.
