She was proud of her Greek heritage and loved to travel. Anastasia was a dancer at heart and loved all kinds of music, especially her grandson Joshs and Billie Holiday. She owned and operated Miss Ann’s dance studio for many years and was a teacher and mentor to scores of young dancers. In retirement she traveled with her husband finally settling in Melbourne Beach Florida. A true “snowbird” winters were spent in sunny Florida and summers in Norwich, CT. She was a prolific knitter, a practiced seamstress and weaver and sewed many outfits for her girls, making many of her own dresses. She never missed a shopping trip and loved to play cards with her friends especially Pinochle.
In our hearts we know she is still dancing.
