A hardworking and devoted single father, Van dedicated his life raising his only daughter, Kristen, and played an instrumental role in the lives of his grandchildren, Madison and Mckenzie. He was not only a loving father-in-law to Peter but also a hero to his grandchildren, who adored him deeply.
Van had a great love for watching Khmer and Vietnamese dubbed movies, finding comfort and joy in the stories and culture they shared. He also never missed an episode of Family Feud, a show that brought him laughter and often became a special part of his daily routine.
Van was loved by many for his kindness, resilience, and the deep love he showed for his family. His legacy of hard work, sacrifice, and selfless devotion to his family will continue to inspire those who knew him.
He will be dearly missed by his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The Funeral for Van will be on Friday, October 4th, from 9 am to 12 pm at Bastian & Perrott, Oswald Mortuary, 18728 Parthenia Boulevard, Northridge, California. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth, California.
