Age 68, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on December 19, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Sunset Prayer Gardens, with Bro. Ron Collett officiating.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Marvis and Gail El Mira Gregory, and his sister, Linda Ann Walker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Monica; his daughter, Christina Gregory; his son, Brady Gregory (Anna Bounds); his fur baby, Berklee Briar; his grand-dog, Luna Blue; his brother, Wallace Gregory (Sondra); and his sister, Coatnie Irene Culp.
Walter deeply loved his family, friends, and pets. He found joy in crappie fishing, his favorite hobby, and dedicated over 40 years of his life to working as a heavy equipment mechanic at Tractor and Equipment.
Pallbearers: Brady Gregory, Marcus “Speedy” Hitt, Cole Lollar Grooms, Brandon Heath, Tyler Heath, and Elliott Heath.
Honorary Pallbearers: Bill and Amelia Yessick, and Raymond Heath.
Walter’s warmth, dedication, and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
